So It Goes

So It Goes
So It Goes
So It Goes were born out of a pub session when Simon and Gary spent a merry evening reminiscing about the music they loved growing up in the North West of England. The Smiths, Joy Division, Teardrop Explodes, Stone Roses, James and Oasis were some of the many stars of their youth, and both agreed that a band playing this music was the sort of band they would like to see.

When they realised that no-one else seemed to be doing this stuff, they decided they would just do it themselves. It just took a couple of quick texts to bassist Kev and drummer Steve and the band was formed.

Taking their name inspired by Tony (Factory Records) Wilson’s seminal music TV programme So It Goes, the band are gigging regularly at pubs, clubs and festivals across the South Coast. Their mix of Indie, Brit Pop and Alternative music, mainly from the 80s and 90s (not just from the North West - the likes of Blur, The Libertines and even Iggy Pop all feature), along with a few more contemporary tunes go down a storm wherever they play.

We’re really pleased to be asked back play the Legacy Festival and to support this very worthwhile cause.
